Samples of Dynamic and Static SprayTests
In this short article, you can see examples of how to perform dynamic and static SprayTests and which defects to avoid in the process.
SprayTest for Classic Spray Gun
Set the fluid flow, shaping air, atomizing air and nozzle distance same as on part and open the fluid nozzle for 0.5s to 1s. If there will be too much paint , try to adjust the time for nozzle opening or reduce the fluid flow.

Static SprayTest for Rotary Bell
Set the fluid flow , inner shaping air, outer shaping air and applicator distance same as on part and open the fluid nozzle for 0.3s to 1s.
Also set the ESTA settings same as in production. If there will be too much paint , try to adjust the time for nozzle opening or reduce the fluid flow.

Dynamic Pattern
Dynamic pattern is made with same settings as you are using in production. The output for rotary bell and gun if there is no problem is pretty much the same.
Set the application parameters and velocity of robot arm movement same as you are using in production.

Spraygun Defects
Below are some examples of defects of HVLP gun captured with SprayVision software. Most of these defects is created by not okay aircap. Sometimes this is caused by simply applying the wrong application parameters.
