How to setup the Ethernet card on the Microsoft Windows system

Setup of Ethernet card on Windows system with factory settings of the unit 192.168.1.50

  1. Search for "Control Panel" in the Windows Start menu and open it.
  2. In the Control Panel search for "View network status and tasks" under Network and internet and open it.
  3. Search for "Change adapter settings" and open it.
  4. Right click on the "Ethernet" connection and click on "Properties".
  5. In the Ethernet Properties, find the TCP/IPv4 protocol and choose "Properties".
  6. In the properties of TCP/IPv4, choose the "Use the following IP address" and enter the IP address, Subnet mask and Default gateway according to the image below.
